Standing Letters, painted and covered with Decoupage Paper

The edges and the back of the these standing letters are painted and the front is then decorated with decoupage paper. Here they are presented with lifelike plastic eggs which are decorated in a similar way as the letters.

How to do it
1 Paint the letter with Plus Color craft paint. Prime the front of the letter with white paint. Paint the edges and the mirrored front/back in your chosen colour and leave to dry. NB: If you also wish to decoupage the back of the letter, prime it with white paint as well.
2 Apply decoupage lacquer to the back of the decoupage paper. Place the back of the letter onto the back of the decoupage paper.
3 Turn it over to the front and use the brush to smooth and flatten out the paper. Apply another coat of decoupage lacquer and leave to dry.
4 Trim to cut away excess decoupage paper. Use a craft knife and a cutting mat.
Another item using the same technique Paint the eggs with Plus Color craft paint according to your own taste and imagination and/or cover with decoupage paper. NB: The lifelike white plastic eggs do not need to be primed prior to covering them with decoupage paper.
