Soy candles cast in oyster shells

Cast beautiful soy candles in oyster shells to add a little coastal elegance to your home. Soy wax is 100% vegan, burns cleanly and produces far less soot than traditional candles.

How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1 Melt around 25 g of soy wax flakes over medium heat. An old marmalade jar can also be used for this.
2 Place the shells on a plastic surface where they can remain undisturbed until the wax has solidified. Place the wick on a flat spot in the middle of the shell and pour in the melted wax.
3 Leave the soy wax to dry until completely hard. Place silicone pads under the shell for balance and to protect the surface from scratches.
