The edges of these birds are painted all the way round with Plus Color craft paint in two colours.

How to do it
1 
Paint the bird's edges with Plus Color craft paint. Change colour between the back and the chest. Leave to dry.

A TIP: The un-painted edges may be sanded with sand paper (80 grade). The wood becomes smoother and any excess paint will be removed.
