Olive oil soap with loofah

Create your own soap with a built-in loofah sponge that both cleanses and exfoliates dry areas like knees, elbows and heels. You use an olive oil soap base that is melted over a water bath and dyed in green shades before pouring it over the sponge with a hanging cord – ready for use and simply hang to dry afterwards.

How to do it

Pull the cord through one of the holes in the Loofah sponge. Squeeze the sponge so it fits in the casting mould.

The soap has a delicate olive green colour without added colour. Make the soaps in different shades by adding 10 drops, 30 drops and 60 drops of green soap colour to 100 g of soap each time.

Pour the melted soap base into the mould around the sponge. The soap hardens quickly after being removed from the hot water bath – the soap can be removed from the mould after 30 minutes. It is fully hardened after 3 hours.
