Mini door painted with craft paint

1 Cut up ice lolly sticks to form a ladder: 2 pcs. @ 9.5 cm and 3 pcs. @ 4.5 cm.

2 Glue the parts together. It doesn't matter if it’s a little crooked and rustic – this will only add to the Halloween vibe.

3 Cut the parts into a box: 8 pcs. @ 4.5 cm, 4 pcs. @ 3.5 cm and 4 pcs. @ 1.7 cm.

4 Glue the first parts together to the ends as shown in the picture and let the glue dry.

5 Glue the finished ends on top of the base pieces as shown in the picture and let it dry.

6 Glue the sides as shown in the picture and let the glue dry.

7 Dilute 1 part paint with 3 parts water. This results in a thinner paint which allows the structure of the wood to penetrate.

8 Paint all of the wooden pieces and let them dry.

9 Print out the PDF for the idea, cut out the background and glue it behind the door.

10 Using a Plus Color marker, write the words 'Spooky Street', 'Haunted House' and 'Graveyard' onto your sign. Tip: Dab your paint on a piece of paper first, so that it doesn't flow too much at once.
