Laminated Glazed Paper as Name Badges with a Photo

1. Cut a 7.5 x 10.5cm piece of glazed paper. In case you need to make several, you may want to make a card template beforehand to ease the process.

2. Make self-adhesive name label on the DYMO label machine and print it out. Attach the name label at the bottom of the glazed paper. NB: if you want the name badge to give a visual indication of attendance or absence, where either one or the other side of the badge indicates this, make a name for the reverse as well.

3. Print a black and white portrait photo, trim it and glue it onto the glazed paper above the name. Use a glue stick.

4. Place the finished name badge in a size A7 laminating pouch and feed it through the laminating machine.

5. Use a Chalk Marker from Uni Posca for writing “absent” on the back above the name.

6. Attach a self-adhesive, transparent hanging tab (Euro Lock) on the reverse. You may hang all the name badges on a painted wooden board with nails.
