1   Measure the desired length for the jewellery and add around 6 cm for knotting. Using the beading needle, thread the beads onto the elastic cord. Adult bracelet: Use 24 cm of elastic cord. The finished length will be 18 cm. Adult necklace: Use 51 cm of elastic cord. The finished length will be 45 cm. For children: Measure the child's wrist and neck before tying the knot. Knot: Secure the elastic cord with a double knot and tighten it as much as possible. If necessary, add a drop of glue for extra hold.

2   Once the jewellery piece is the desired length, secure the elastic cord by tying a knot. Start by twisting the two ends around each other three times and then twice. Tighten the knots.
