Embroidered hanging decoration with imaginative design

Decorate your home with these colourful hangers. Children can let their imagination run wild while practising different embroidery techniques. Each one has two sides, so you can make two different creations on each.

How to do it
1 Loosen the screw on the embroidery frame, place the felt between the two rings and tighten the screw again. Cut the felt to size, leaving approx. 2 cm for folding in order to glue on the embroidered backing.
Cut another piece of felt with a diameter of 9 cm to cover the back (see step 8). Use the inner ring of the embroidery frame as a template for cutting.

2 Cut out small pieces/shapes from the cut felt scraps.
3 Thread the needle with yarn and tie a knot at the end.
4 Sew on the different parts, inserting the needle from the back to start.
5 Embroider your own design with beads and yarn.
6 Decorate with pom-poms.
7 Secure the yarn on the back.
8 Embroider the back piece.
9 Secure the yarn on the back. Apply sticky base glue all around the edge.
10 Place sticky base on the frame edge and fold in the felt. Attach the back piece.
11 Attach a pipe cleaner for hanging.
