How to do it:
Draw a semi circle on a wide piece of masking tape and cut out.
Attach the masking tape onto the flower pot so that the straight edge aligns with the top edge of the flower pot.
Paint the flower pot with glass & porcelain paint. Leave to dry.
Dab some paint in a matching colour onto, for example, bubble wrap, a beeswax sheet, a plastic lid and make a patterned print.
Remove the masking tape and fix the flower pot in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 160°C. Leave to cool.
Draw a face and other details with a glass & porcelain marker and fix in the oven once more. Make cheeks with pink glass & porcelain paint on a brush handle.
Apply two coats of weather resistant lacquer to the flower pot. Leave to dry between coats.
Feed a leather cord through the holes in the flower pot. Thread wooden beads onto the leather cord on the outside of the flower pot and tie knots.
Put a miniature plant inside the flower pot and hang it.
Fix the flower pot twice in the oven in order to fix the paint before adding further details with markers. This is to prevent the marker from scratching the paint ...
