This sculpture, inspired by Picasso, is cut out from EVA foam rubber (Roll mat material). The foam rubber is painted with A-Color matt acrylic paint in different colours and assembled with cloth tape when dry.

1.   Cut a piece of foam rubber sleeping mat material according to your imagination; here it meassures approx. 30 cm.

2.   Draw a line to cut round using a marker; here we've drawn a surreal profile.

3.   Paint the foam rubber in different colours using A-Color matt acrylic paint according to your imagination. (Here we have painted the edges of the foam rubber with black paint). Leave to dry.

4.   You may cut out eyes etc. from the foam rubber and glue the parts onto the sculpture using Craft glue.

5.   Assemble the sculpture with cloth tape which is attached onto the back of the painted foam rubber. A TIP: you may sew the sculpture together with coarse stitches.

6.   You may decorate the sculpture with a headdress – also cut out from painted foam rubber sleeping mat material; here a circle with a 30 cm diameter, cut out like a coil.

7.   A TIP: Alternatively you may cut out the coil from a square piece of foam rubber.

8.   Paint the coil in the same manner as the sculpture's body. Leave to dry.

9.   Place the coil into shape according to your own imagination and place it on top of the sculpture like a headdress.

10.   You may cut small notches in the coil in order for it to keep its shape. Alternatively you may use a bit of glue.
