Straw Silk Paper on Glass

A photo copy and metallic paper/straw silk paper are glued onto the reverse of a glass dish using glass decoupage lacquer. A-Color glass paint is dabbed onto the areas not covered by paper.

How to do it
1 
Apply a coat of decoupage lacquer onto the back of the glass dish.

Place the photo copy of the child onto the lacquer. The back of the photo copy should face up and the front of the photo copy should face down onto the dish.

Add metallic paper and straw silk paper using decoupage lacquer. Let it dry.

Dab A-Color glass paint onto the dish (and also on the back) in areas which are not covered by paper. Let it dry. You may choose to apply another coat of decoupage lacquer for extra protection of the back of the glass dish.
