Select the writing tip you want to write with first. Press an ink cartridge with the narrow tip facing downwards into the inside of the writing tip and press down well. Screw the writing tip firmly into the pen’s long sleeve. Shake the pen just as you would a ketchup bottle. Shake over a piece of paper until the black ink drips out of the writing tip. Now you can start writing with the fountain pen. When you're not using the pen to write with, replace the protective cap to prevent the ink cartridge from drying out..
