A decorated Box with a Frame like a Book

A wooden box is shaped like a book with a glass frame on the front is painted with Plus Color craft paint. The front is covered with decoupage paper and decorated with feathers behind the glass.

How to do it

Paint the box all over with white Plus Color craft paint. Leave to dry. Paint the back and the 'spine' with the same type of paint in a different colour.

Place the front of the box (the lid) on a piece of decoupage paper. Draw the outline and cut out. Apply a coat of decoupage lacquer to the lid.

Attach the paper onto the lid. Cut out the hole in the frame and fold the edges onto the inside of the lid.

Place the backing piece which is supplied with the book box onto a piece of black card. Draw the outline and cut out.
