Travel container with small olive oil soaps and loofah sponge

#v17206

Make beautiful little soaps that are easy to take with you on the go. They are shaped like small beach shells and stored in a handy travel container. You use an olive oil soap base with nourishing properties and add a loofah sponge to help exfoliate dry areas like knees, elbows and heels.

How to do it
1 Guide step %d Pull the cord through one of the holes in the loofah sponge. Tie a knot by twisting the end twice around itself to make the knot thicker.
2 Guide step %d Tighten the knot, making sure that the cords do not cross each other. This will give you a nice, smooth knot.
3 Guide step %d Use 15 g of soap for each soap mould. So, melt 30 g of soap for a batch of soaps.
4 Guide step %d Melt the olive oil soap mass in a water bath in a heat-resistant container.
5 Guide step %d The soap has a delicate olive green colour without added colour. Make the soaps in different shades by adding 10 drops, 20 drops and 40 drops of green soap colour to 30 g of soap each time.
6 Guide step %d Carefully pour the liquid soap into the small moulds. Tap the mould a few times on the table to remove any air bubbles.
7 Guide step %d The soap will start to solidify when it is removed from the hot water. So, pour it into the moulds as quickly as soon as possible. After 20 minutes, the soaps will be hard enough to be removed from the moulds.
8 Guide step %d If a mould is overfilled, the edges can be cut off with a sharp knife.
9 Guide step %d Travel soaps in four colours are shown here.
