Spooky zombie costume for Halloween

1 Print the idea PDF. Use the stencil to cut out the headband pieces out of self-adhesive EVA foam. Remember that the knife handles should be mirrored.

2 Remove the paper from the black handle and attach to the white EVA foam.

3 Remove the paper from the white EVA foam and stick the pieces together around the headband on each side. Attach the parts so that the bottom edge is 5 cm from the bottom of the headband. When the headband is worn, the knife will be 'straight'.

4 Decorate the headband with red glitter clay or Foam Clay®.

5 Fold the felt piece (45 x 120 cm) in the middle of the long side – see the instructions in the PDF. Find the centre of the fold, place the stencil on it, trace and cut a semicircle for the neck opening.

6 Cut out points on the bottom.

7 Cut a straight line from the centre of the neck opening to the bottom of the top layer of felt.

8 Cut two pieces of satin ribbon for ties. Fold in the end and secure with sticky base.

9 Also add a dab of sticky base to the top of the ribbon so that it sticks well to the felt.

10 Tie a knot at the end of each ribbon.

11 Decorate the cape with red glitter clay.

12 Attach spiders with green neon clay.

13 Pull strings of green neon clay over the spiders to secure them.

14 Draw details with the black marker.

15 Decorate with red glitter glue.

16 Spread out the cape and decorate the other side as well. Allow the cape to dry for 12-24 hours.
