Spinning tops with googly eyes and fun hair

1 Draw a pattern on the top of the spinning top with creative multi markers. Stripes are drawn here, but you can also draw a spiral, dots or anything else.

2 Turn over the spinning top and continue drawing on the bottom.

3 Attach adhesive googly eyes to the top of the spinning top. Choose two different sizes for a crazy look.

4 Draw a mouth under the eyes.

5 Now it’s time to make hair for the spinning top. Decide whether you want 1, 2 or more colours. Now cut a bunch of pieces of string to around 5 cm.

6 Take a small piece of sticky base and place it around the bottom of the spinning top.

7 Now add the yarn around the top by pressing it into the glue. Be careful not to make the spinning top too heavy on one side – the better the yarn is distributed, the easier it will spin.

8 Cut the hair so that it doesn't hang over the edge of the spinning top.
