Patterned pom-pom Easter eggs

Create these fluffy and colourful pom-pom Easter eggs that are perfect for hanging on spring branches. The eggs are made with a special pom-pom maker that turns the yarn into wonderful patterns. Around 20 g of yarn is needed for each egg.

How to do it

Put the two parts of the pom-pom maker together and hold it open while winding yarn around it.
Wrap small divided pieces of the pink yarn around the pom-pom maker – but without covering the enter pom-pom maker because it will be used to create the final pattern.

Fill the areas of the pom-pom maker that are not yet wrapped with the light yellow yarn. Repeat the entire process until the pom-pom maker is completely filled with yarn.

Cut around 40 cm of the satin ribbon and tie it tightly around the centre of the egg with a double knot.
This ribbon holds the yarn together and you can now open the pom-pom maker and loosen the yarn.
