Organiser with personal space for each child

1 Print the corresponding idea PDF and use the stencil to draw a square on felt in the desired background colour.

2 Cut out the square.

3 Find your initial in the stencil and cut it out.

4 Use the stencil to draw the letter on the felt and then cut it out.

5 Put small dabs of sticky base on the back of the letter.

6 Press the letter onto the left side of the square piece of felt.

7 Now make felt designs to place next to your letter. You can draw around cutters to make flowers, stars and circles of different sizes. You can also use your imagination to create designs to cut out.

8 Also attach these felt pieces by putting sticky base on the back and pressing them in place.

9 Select some self-adhesive Eva Foam shapes to decorate. Remove the protective paper on the back.

10 Stick them on top of the felt.

11 Decorate your square however you want.

12 Now cut the self-adhesive Velcro tape to a length of 12 cm. Cut 24 pieces with hooks and 24 with loops. Remove the protective paper on the back.

13 Attach a piece of Velcro tape to the top of each pocket.

14 Attach the opposite pieces of Velcro tape to the top of each felt square.

15 The square can now be glued to the pocket. The Velcro makes it easy to change the names. Alternatively, the felt pieces can be glued directly to the pocket with sticky base.

16 Use jute wire for hanging. Cut the wire to a suitable length with a pair of pliers and wrap it around the pin so that it's tight.
