This natural sponge is made from dried pulp from the luffa plant, making it natural and plastic-free alternative to synthetic sponges. The coarse and airy texture gently exfoliates skin and stimulates blood circulation – and you can use it as an exfoliating sponge in homemade soaps, where it adds an extra spa effect. Slice into discs and add to your homemade soaps. After use, it should be rinsed and air-dried – and you can also boil it occasionally to keep it fresh longer. Loofah sponges lasts around 6 months, after which they can be composted.
