Open an O-ring by twisting the opening of the ring in opposite directions with two jewellery pliers – but without expanding the ring. Assemble the parts with the O-ring – for example a carabiner clasp and a crimp cover. Close the opposite end of the chain with an O-ring so that the carabiner clasp has something to close around.
