Make stars out of fine clay polymer or FIMO® clay using cutters. After the stars are fired in the oven, they're decorated with glitter glue, rhinestones and sequins.

How to do it

Knead and soften the clay by hand for around 4 minutes.

Roll out the clay to a thickness of around 2 mm.

Roll the excess clay from step 3 into a ball and then roll it out into a flat circle. Use the small star shape (4.8 cm) to cut out a star in the centre. You now have four hanging decorations. Repeat steps 1-4 with the white fine clay to make a total of eight pieces.

Place the hanging decorations on a piece of baking paper and use a pointed pencil to make a hole for the string in the stars.

Allow the hanging decorations to cool and harden for 2-3 hours. Now decorate them by adding sequins and rhinestones with glitter glue and allow the glue to dry completely before inserting the string.

Cut 20-25 cm of silver cord, thread through the hole on the hanging decorations and tie a knot.
