Crocheted Dog Bone

1   Print out the instructions in PDF format found at the bottom of the page. Make each end piece separately, but crochet together with double crochet stitches through both ends.

2   Finish crocheting the end pieces. Switch to a different yarn colour when crocheting the long part of the bone.

3   Crochet four rows with each colour, for a total of nine colour changes. Stuff with polyester filling as you progress and insert a squeaker in the middle of the bone together with the filling.

4   Since you are crocheting in a spiral, the start of each row will shift. So, you can shift the start of each row by 1 double crochet stitch to the right every time you change colour.
