How to embroider mille fleur

#v16642

Mille fleur stitches are often used to embroider small leaves and flowers. First, stick the needle up through the fabric and make a loop. Then insert the needle into the same hole as the stitch and up through the inside of the loop. Finally, make a small stitch over it. Sew stitches together in a row to make chain stitches.
