Birthday banner with cakes and candles

Keep track of birthdays with a cake for each month and a candle for each child. Cut the cakes out of felt and glue them onto the banners. Have each child write his or her name and date of birth on a cardboard candle and place them in the cake for their birth month.

Cut a hole in the cake by folding the cake in half and cutting along the line.

Attach sticky base along the edge of the felt pieces. On the bottom of the cake, only glue along the two sides and the bottom. It is important to avoid glue on the upper edge so that the candles can be inserted here.
