A painted Metal Tin Drum & Drumsticks made from Flower Sticks

Children's musical intelligence is enhanced by this creative project when they play the drum with drumsticks. The instruments are made from an old metal cake tin and flower sticks which are decorated with paint etc.

How to do it
1 Paint the metal tin with Art School acrylic paint using two different colours. Let it dry for at least 24 hours.
2 Cut the flower stick into two drumsticks each measuring 25 cm. Use a glue gun and attach an end bead to one end of both drumstick.
3 Paint the drumsticks with Art School acrylic paint and let them dry for at least 24 hours.
4 You may want to tie bells onto a piece of elastic cord and wrap this around the metal tin for an added sound effect.
