A Macramé Bracelet

1.   Cut two pieces of macramé cord – one piece measuring 55cm and the other measuring 210cm. Arrange the cords as shown. (The finished size of the bracelet is approx. 20cm).

2.   Braid as shown, alternately from side to side. The loop at the top must match the size of the button.

3.   Continue until the desired length is reached.

4.   Pull one cord through the button and put down the two ends onto the back of the bracelet.

5.   Finish with a braiding around the ends.

6.   Remove a small amount of the inside of the cord with a pair of scissors.

7.   Melt the ends and immediately …

8.   … push down the ends into the back of the bracelet.

9.   Sew a metal plate pendant onto the middle of the bracelet with a piece of thin lightly waxed cotton cord.
