A Hanging Decoration from Copper Metallic Foil Card

Hanging decorations from copper metallic foil card, embossed with an embossing pen. Make a hole pattern along the edges with hole punch pliers. Two eyelets are inserted (top and bottom). Insert a waxed cotton cord with a wooden bead through each eyelet.

How to do it
1. Edge the heart in the metallic foil card using the template which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Use a sharp object to do this, eg: a toothpick.
2. Cut out the heart using a hobby knife or a pair of scissors.

3. Make a hole pattern along the edge of the heart using hole punch pliers. NB: Use the hole punch pliers' smallest hole setting.
4. Emboss a pattern in the surface of the heart using an embossing pen. Use your imagination.
5. Use an eyelet setter for making a hole in the top and the bottom of the heart.
6. Insert an eyelet in both holes and hammer the edges flat on the back of the heart. Use the other end of the eyelet setter for this.
7. Cut two pieces of waxed cotton cord. A long piece for hanging and a short piece of making a small tassel. Thread them through the eyelets, decorate with a wooden bead and tie a knot.
