Pastel-coloured Eggs with Copper Decoration & white Dots

One half of each egg is painted with pastel coloured Art Aqua watercolour paint mixed with A-color Allround medium glue lacquer. The paint is painted over Color Blocker dots. The other half of each egg is decorated with Copper Imitation Metal Leaf.

How to do it
1. Make dots using a foam stencil brush and Color Blocker on one half of the egg. Let it dry for approx. one hour.
2. Mix A-color allround medium glue lacquer and Art Aqua watercolour paint in the ratio 1 to 1.
3. Apply the mixture onto the egg with a brush. Try to avoid the actual dots. Paint the entire egg. Wipe/dab off the excess paint with a piece of kitchen roll.
4. When the paint is dry, remove the Color Blocker dots. Gently rub with a piece of kitchen roll, dipped in warm water.
5. Attach a piece of masking tape all the way around the top and the bottom of the egg on the side with the dots.
6. Apply a thin coat of Fix Glue onto the half of the egg without the dots. NB: wash the brush immediately afterwards with soap and water.
7. Put Copper Imitation Metal Leaf all over the side of the egg with the Fix Glue. Smooth out the surface using a soft, dry brush. At the end, brush off the excess Imitation Metal Leaf.
8. Remove the masking tape.
