A Christmas Bauble from Faux Leather Paper Star Strips

1   Cut both star strip into three 26 cm pieces. Make holes in both ends and in the middle of all six pieces using a needle or punch pliers.

2   Cut a 50 cm piece of leather cord. Tie two knots approx. in the middle – the distance between the knots measures approx. 7 cm. Thread a wooden bead onto each cord end and push them down to the knots.

3   Thread the star strips onto the cord through the middle hole in the star strips.

4   Assemble the bauble. Thread all the paper strips onto the cord from the bottom. Finish with a knot.

5   Thread wooden beads and a jewellery pendant onto the cord. Feed the cord end back through the beads and the knot and tie another knot.

6   Tighten the cord and trim the end.
