Set a magical Christmas table with homemade table decorations, such as small Christmas trees made of crepe paper, pretty paper angels with mother-of-pearl beads and stars with colourful sequins. You can also make painted Christmas candles.

1 Cut 12 pieces of wire measuring 33 cm. Shape the stars around the star shape. Start and finish at one of the tips.

2 Thread sequins onto the thread.

3 Close the star by twisting the ends together. Cut off the excess wire and attach the cord.

4 Cut the leaves of the trees out of crepe paper using the template.

5 Cut small notches along the entire edge. Roll the pieces to curl the notches.

6 Fold the pipe cleaners in half and make a star at the top. Twist the two ends together.

7 Pierce the cork with pointed scissors. Fill the hole with glue and insert the pipe cleaner star.

8 Cut the cover for the cork out of crepe paper using the template. Cut notches and then twist. Glue it onto the cork.

9 Glue on the crepe spruce. Start with the wide end and glue in layers.

10 Cut out all the parts using the template.

11 Cut along the marked lines where the wings and dress meet to assemble the angel. On one wing, cut halfway down the wing from the head. On the second wing, cut the wing halfway up from the outer edge of the dress.

12 Assemble the angel and join the wings together in the cut slits.

13 Cut three pieces of pipe cleaner in half and make a circle at the top to create the halo.

14 Attach a piece of sticky base to the end, insert the halo and secure it in the hole behind the face.

15 Decorate the candles with candle paint. For example, paint cherry stems using a flat brush. Start by making a horizontal line using the candle pen. The drying time for the decorations is around 3 hours.
