Paper raffia yarn made from 100% wood fibre with many creative uses. Use raffia yarn for knitting, crocheting, weaving, decoration and so on. Raffia is 100% biodegradable and can be washed gently by hand.
Depending on the desired expression and application, we recommend no. 5 or 5.5 size knitting needles and no. 4.5 or 5 crochet needles..
Raffia yarn can tolerate heat up to 200 °C. The natural look of raffia make it a beautiful material to use for home decor in a wide range of contexts –
including knitted or crocheted trivets, placemats etc. The raffia ribbon is also ideal for winding and weaving into coiled baskets, bowls and so on.
