Upcycling – mini aquarium in plastic bucket

Create a mini world inside a plastic bucket or jar and decorate with figures and coral reefs made from shrink plastic and Silk Clay®.

1 Colour in the shrink plastic sheets with coloured pencils.
2 Cut out the motifs.
3 Place the figure on a baking tray lined with baking paper in a conventional oven at 170 degrees. After a few minutes, the figure will start to shrink and curl up. It's ready when it straightens up again.
4 Remove the handle from the bucket.
5 Press down a layer of Foam Clay® on the bottom of the bucket.
6 Roll out balls and sausage shapes and model them into imaginative coral pieces. Finally, place the coral into the bottom of the bucket.
7 Stick the shrink plastic figures into the coral before the Foam Clay® hardens.
