Terracotta Money Boxes decorated with Text and Numbers

These two money boxes (shaped like houses) made from natural terracotta may be used to save up for a house. They are decorated with text and numbers using opaque glass and porcelain markers. Prior to decoration, the small house is primed with black A-Color paint for glass and the big house is primed with transparent decoupage lacquer.

How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1 Remove the small rubber plug from the bottom of the money box and prime either with decouplage lacquer for glass and porcelain or with black A-Color Glass paint. Leave to dry.
2 Write/draw on the money box according to your imagination. Use opaque markers for glass and porcelain. Leave to dry.
3 This house-shaped money box is decorated with a black background. A TIP! A-Color Glass paint (irrespective of the colour) is a great choice for decorating terracotta items.
