These amusing Silk Clay heads are modelled around a plastic cup, which is ideal for sowing cress in cotton wool. The body is a terracotta bell painted with A-Color matt paint.

How to do it
1.
The head is made from Silk Clay modelling clay modelled around a small plastic cup.
2.
Model the eyes, nose, mouth and ears and push them onto the head.
3.
Push the head onto the terracotta bell. Let it dry.
4.
Paint the bell with A-Color matt paint.
5.
Stamp designs onto the bell, using foam stamps and A-Color matt paint in a different colour to the base colour used for the bell. When the paint is dry, you may write your name with a permanent marker. Place some cotton wool in the cup used for shaping the head around. Sprinkle some cress seeds onto the cotton wool and add water.
