How to do it

1
Staple both ends of a 14 cm long cardboard tube together using small staples.

2
Cut a hole for the racing driver's seat measuring approx. 3.5 x 3 cm. Cut the hole approx. 4.5 cm from the front end of the car.

3
Make holes in both sides of the car for the wheels using pointed scissors. Push two wooden flower sticks all the way through the holes.

4
Paint the car with acrylic paint and leave it to dry.

5
Make the wheels by cutting two long pieces of corrugated card, each measuring approx. 1 metre. Cut along the middle of both pieces of corrugated card so that each piece measures just under 3 cm in width. You now have four 3 x 100 cm strips.

6
Roll the corrugated card tightly around a wooden flower stick with the smooth side of the board facing out until the wheel measures 4.5 cm in diameter. Wrap an elastic band around the wheel and pull out the flower stick.

7
You may paint the wheels or make rubber tyres. Roll out black Silk Clay into an oblong approx. 14 cm long. Cover the wheel and trim the excess Silk Clay with scissors. Leave to dry.

8
Cut out the car number and the racing driver's body using the template. Trim
a photo and glue it onto the body. Write the car number with a marker.

9
Cut out the rear spoiler and further decorations from card and attach onto the car using Sticky Base.

10
Attach all the parts onto the car using Sticky Base which is used like glue. Leave to dry for 24 hours before the car is ready to play.
