Polystyrene Stars and Polystyrene Hearts

Apply pigment modelling paste onto polystyrene shapes. Then decorate with A-color metallic paint and glitter. Attach small tassels made from tinsel which is gathered with decorative beads, adding that extra finishing touch.

How to do it
1 Put the polystyrene shape on a stick and apply coarse modelling paste. Leave to dry.

3 Cut a piece of tinsel and bunch it together with some floral wire. You may thread beads onto the floral wire. Use a glue gun or insert the wire into the polystyrene shape to keep it in place.
4 Insert a metal hanger into the polystyrene shape. Thread a piece of ribbon or string with beads through the metal hanger and add beads.
