Create your own earrings with diamond-shaped bead pendants. Use two colours of rocaille seed beads and sew the beads together using a thin beading needle and some nylon thread. Start in the middle and make one triangle first. Then make the other, starting from the middle and working upwards.

1 Start in the middle of the 1 m long nylon cord and in the middle of the diamond-shaped pendant with seven beads on the cord. Sew back through the beads as shown in the diagram and double sew around the last bead to close.
2 Start the second row with two new beads on the nylon cord and sew down around the cord at the top of the beads in the last row. Sew back through the two beads and up into the second bead – see diagram. Tighten to secure the beads in place. Continue down the row, one bead at a time. The first half of the pendant consists of seven rows.
3 Make the other half of the pendant with the 50 cm nylon cord you have from step 1. Continue sewing on top of the row with the seven beads, just as in step 2 – a total of six rows. Open the ring in the earring, thread it through the top bead and squeeze together.
