Attach glass mosaic tiles and buttons onto a box lid. Fill the gaps with grout dyed with a small amount of craft paint.

How to do it

Paint the box and the box lid with opaque craft paint and leave to dry.

Attach glass mosaic tiles and buttons onto the box lid with glue. You may use a jewel picker for picking up and placing the very small glass mosaic tiles onto the glue. Leave to dry completely.

If you want a coloured joint, mix a bit of craft paint with the mosaic grout.

Distribute the coloured grout over the glass mosaic tiles and buttons, working it into the gaps.

Wipe away excess grout with a damp cloth or sponge, so that the glass mosaic tiles and the buttons appear clean once again. Leave to dry.
