Mmm ... Making hard-boiled sweets is a great activity for school clubs or at home in the kitchen.

How to do it

1. Put water, sugar and grape sugar in a pan and boil to 162 degrees.
2. Pour the mixture onto the teflon sheet.
3. Add colour and flavour and knead the mixture using a plastic scraper.
4. Pull the mixture into strips and cut with a pair of scissors. Additional guidance is included in the sweet starter kits.
