Knotted macramé Santa for hanging

Make your own Santa Claus decoration for hanging on the wall using the macramé knotting technique. Knot it using two different colours of macramé cord – red for Santa’s hat and white for Santa’s beard. This is an easy knotting project that doesn't take long to make. You will need 15 m of red cord, 30 m of off-white cord and a 20 cm stick.

Cut 1 x 2 m and 1 x 8 m of cord.

Secure the 2 x 1 m cord using a clamp or tape. Find the middle of the 8 m cord that goes behind the two 1 m cords. Tie a half square knot around it.
