How to do it
1 Guide step %d Cover a 7 cm polystyrene egg with Foam Clay.
2 Guide step %d Print out the templates which are available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Cut out a beak, a cockscomb and feet from card, using the templates whilst the egg is drying.
3 Guide step %d Attach the cut-out card parts and two small polystyrene balls for the eyes using small blobs of fresh Foam Clay.
4 Guide step %d Make a hole downwards in the back of the hen and insert the feather into the hole.
5 Guide step %d Roll two small black Foam Clay balls and press them onto the eyes.
6 Guide step %d You can make small chicks using 5 cm polystyrene eggs and 1.5cm diameter polystyrene balls for the eyes.
