How to do it
Guide step 1
1.
Attach an oval ring to the metal disc.
Guide step 2
2.
Cut a 130 cm piece of leather cord and thread on the pendant.
Guide step 3
3.
Thread beads onto the leather cord on both sides of the metal disc.
Guide step 4
4.
Finish the necklace by making adjustable knots at each end, in order to being able to vary the length of the necklace. See the technique at the end.
Guide step 5
5.
Finish each end with a single knot, a small metal disc and another knot. Trim the excess leather cord.
Guide step 6
A.
Adjustable knot: Arrange the two ends in parallel and tie an adjustable knot on each side; make a loop with one end of the cord and twist this end around itself and the other cord three to five times.
Guide step 7
B.
Now push the end of this cord through the loops, as well as through the first loop.
Guide step 8
C.
Now pull the end of the cord and the loops will lie flat and tight around the two cords.
Guide step 9
D.
Cut the end of the cord off close to the knot. Glue it onto the loops. Take care not to glue it onto the cord on which is intended to slide.
