This chick is shaped from bonsai wire and covered with gauze bandage. Then it is painted with a shiny A-Color Glass paint and decorated with dots made using a foam stencil brush. The eyes are added using glass and porcelain markers.

Guide step 1
1.
Bend a piece of bonsai wire into a U-shape. Bend the ends to make feet, enabling the chick to stand unaided.
Guide step 2
2.
Cut several approx. 15cm long pieces of gauze bandage. Dip these in water and wrap them around the bonsai wire body. Form a beak from the gauze bandage. Press and smooth it onto the body.
Guide step 3
3.
Cut one piece of gauze bandage for the wings. Attach it onto the chick's back and let it dry.
Guide step 4
4.
Paint the chick with A-Color Glass paint.
Guide step 5
5.
Make dots with a foam stencil brush. Add eyes with a white and a black glass and porcelain marker.
