Father Christmases made from Ornamental Cones

Make a large and a small Father Christmas from square papier-mâché cones. Hat and beard are made from corrugated board, partially painted white. Glue onto the cones. A wooden disc nose, a pompom tassel and eyes drawn with a black permanent marker.

How to do it
1. Use the point of the cone as a template for all four sides when making the pixie hat from corrugated board. NB! The length of the pixie hat should measure slightly less than half of the height of the entire cone.
2. Glue the cut-out triangular corrugated board pieces onto the top part of the cone; one on each of the four sides.
3. By eye cut the beard and the pixie hat edge from corrugated board. Dip your finger in white Plus Color Craft Paint and apply the paint onto the ridges of the corrugated board. Leave the cut-out pieces dry before glueing them onto the cone.
4. Glue a wooden disc onto the face for the nose and attach a pom-pom onto the end of the pixie hat for the tassel. Draw eyes onto the cone using a black permanent marker.
