Facetten-Lack on a Papier-Mâché Egg

A two-piece papier-mâché egg painted in black Plus Color craft paint, primed with glue lacquer. A thick layer of silver Facetten-Lack is applied. The crackle effect is achieved after 24 hours. Finish with a coat of glue lacquer.
How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1. Paint the egg with black Plus Color craft paint. Allow to dry.
2. Apply a thick coat of glue lacquer. Allow to dry.
3. Apply a 2-4mm thick layer of Facetten-Lack using a glue spreader.
4. Allow 24 hours for the Facetten-Lack to dry. The crackle effect will appear shortly after application.
