Crocheted Easter Eggs

Crochet Easter eggs in beautiful pastels – both solid and striped – in two different sizes. Crochet the eggs in 8/4 cotton yarn and stuff with polyester filling. The finished eggs can be hung on branches from the garden.

1 Print out the instructions in PDF format found at the bottom of the page. The instructions are for eggs in two different sizes, but both start with double crochet stitches in a magic ring.
2 Crochet the egg according to the instructions and stuff it with polyester filling before completing the entire egg.
3 Crochet the egg in stripes, with two rows of each colour.
4 Finish the egg by pulling the end of the thread through the last rows of stitches with a needle.
5 Fasten off the end so that the egg will not unravel.
6 Make a hanging loop of around 8 cm. You can make the loop out from the end of yarn used to finish off the egg or a new piece of yarn.
7 Small Easter eggs in solid colours.
8 Striped large-sized eggs.
