Crepe paper flowers decorated with markers

Make these unique crepe paper flowers with lots of colourful marker details. The leaves are cut out using a stencil and decorated with creative markers before being shaped. Finally, the petals are attached to the stem to create a flower.

How to do it
Guide step %d
1   Draw all the parts using the stencils and then cut them out.

2   Colour around the edges of the white petals and along the bottom edge of the leaf with the marker. Do this on both sides of the petals.

3   Colour one edge of the blue petals on both sides.

4   Glue the petals one by one onto the top of the flower stem. Allow the glue to dry.

5   Glue the blue petals one by one around the flower stem. Allow the glue to dry.

6   Carefully unfold the blue petals to create the shape of the flower.

7   Wrap the long piece of green crepe paper around the flower stem. Glue the leaves onto the stem staggered and wrap diagonally around the bottom of each leaf to cover the joints. Continue until the stem is covered.

8   Draw all the parts using the stencils and then cut them out.

9   Carefully unfold the white petals one by one.

10   Colour the front and back around the edges of the white petals with a creative marker.

11   Glue the three long white pieces (flower stamens) around each flower stem. Allow the glue to dry.

12   Gently twist them as shown in the picture.

13   Glue on the white petals one by one. Allow the glue to dry.

14   Wrap the long pieces of green crepe paper halfway around the three flower stems. Glue the leaves onto the stem staggered and wrap diagonally around the bottom of each leaf to cover the joints.

15   Cut off the excess crepe paper on the two thin flower stems and leave it on the thickest one.

16   Wrap the thin flower stems around the thicker stem.

17   Cut off the excess thin flower stems.

18   Twist and glue the rest of the green strip around the bottom part of the thick stem. Allow the glue to dry.

19   Draw all the parts using the stencils and then cut them out.

20   Colour along the edge of the blue piece on both sides.

21   Carefully twist the small flower stamens one by one.

22   Glue the long red piece (seed pod) around the top of the flower stem. Allow the glue to dry.

23   Glue the stamens around the seed pod and allow the glue to dry.

24   Glue the red petals alternately opposite each other. Allow the glue to dry.

25   Glue the small green piece (sepals) around the stem. Allow the glue to dry.

26   Wrap the long piece of green crepe paper around the flower stem. Glue the leaves onto the stem staggered and wrap diagonally around the bottom of each leaf to cover the joints. Continue until the stem is covered.
