These two angels are made using the quilling technique. The angels are made from long, white paper strips which are folded, rolled and glued together. A piece of white thread is attached to each angel for hanging.

Guide step 1
1.
Fold ten paper strips in the middle and make a symmetrical fan for the angel's dress.
Guide step 2
2.
Wrap a short paper strip around the fan assembly and secure with glue.
Guide step 3
3.
Fold the top of both wings and glue in place. One on either side of the fan.
Guide step 4
4.
Make the head and the lower part of the wings from paper strips which are rolled into a coil using a Quilling Pen. Place the compact coil in the quilling board in the mould that matches the circumference of the coil. (NB: the head should be smaller than the wings).
Guide step 5
5.
Remove one coil at the time from the quilling board. Hold it firmly between your thumb and index finger and let it slightly unravel. Secure with glue and let it dry. Squeeze one side of both wings flat, with a point.
Guide step 6
6.
Glue the head and the lower part of the wings in place.
Guide step 7
7.
Attach a piece of thread to the angel's head for hanging.
