Decoupage is a crafting technique, in which you glue cuttings of paper or napkins together as a whole. After this, you lacquer so the surface gets smooth and even. With decoupage you can make beautiful decorations in different shapes on all the world’s objects and materials – e.g. glass, wood, and other things. We have gathered techniques to make it easy for you to start.

  1. Inspiration: v16095 How to make handmade paper with effects
This technique illustrates how to make beautiful paper from scratch. Make paper with paper pulp or old scraps of paper and add, for example, lavender seeds to create a lovely effect. This is a fun and inexpensive craft project resulting in a unique, useful handmade product. 100g paper pulp = 20-25 A5 sheets of handmade paper.
  2. Inspiration: v15078 Decoupage on Wood
Wooden products may be decorated with paper. Choose from covering paper (glazed paper, wrapping paper etc.) or transparent paper (napkins, tissue paper etc.). You may cut, tear and punch out the paper. We recommend decoupage lacquer for gluing.
