Cut a 9.5 x 19 cm piece of red card. Fold in the middle and make a punched-out design in the bottom right corner using a Pop-up punch.

This is what the punched-out design looks like.

Remove the backing paper from a self-adhesive paper lace border and feed it through the punched-out heart.

Also make a punched-out design in a piece of white pearlescent paper.

Trim the pearlescent paper to measure 4 x 8.5 cm with the punched-out heart in the middle. There should be a margin at the top of approx. 1 cm and ¬Ĺ cm at the left and right edge.

Attach the pearlescent paper with the punched-out heart onto the Christmas card using double-sided tape.

Feed the checked ribbon through the white punched-out heart and attach with double-sided tape.

Attach brads. First make a hole with an awl or similar.

Cut a 9 x 9 cm piece of white card and attach it inside the front of the card using double-sided tape.
Step 10.
A TIP: Add a 3D effect to the punched-out designs by slightly lifting the arches of the heart from the card.

Punch a star-shaped border along right hand side on the front of the greeting card.

Cut a 10.5 x 20 cm piece of music notes vellum paper. Fold in half.

Attach the music notes vellum paper onto the greeting card using double-sided tape.

Cut out two squares; a 6.5 x 6.5 cm square from red card and a 4 x 4 cm square from white pearlescent paper.

Attach a white paper lace border onto the red square using double-sided tape.

Attach the two squares onto the greeting card with double-sided tape; the red one first and then the white one on top.

Punch out Christmas trees in two sizes and two colours with paper punches in two different sizes.

Attach the large Christmas tree onto the greeting card with double-sided tape and the small tree on top of the large one with 3D pads.

Tie a small piece of checked ribbon around the legs of the brad. Make a hole with an awl and insert the brad.

Cut a 12.5 x 12.5 cm square from red card and attach it inside the front of the greeting card using double-sided tape.
